The series begins with The Adventures of Peter McDugal, where Peter navigates the complexities of dealing with bullies while finding solace in his close-knit community. As the story unfolds in the second book, My Sometimes Pal, Peter struggles to understand his unpredictable friend Franky, who oscillates between loyalty and betrayal.
